Delta Scholarship
The Lancaster Alumnae Chapter established a scholarship program for high school seniors in 1983. Annually, high-performing students are rewarded through two $500 scholarships for their dedication to educational achievement, leadership, and service to their school and community. The scholarship program provides a legacy for the education of tomorrow’s leaders by awarding over $27,000.
Delta Academy
The primary goal of the Delta Academy is to prepare young females for full participation in the 21st century and to save them from the perils of academic failure, low self-esteem, and crippled futures. This was done by demonstrating the relevance of scholarship through a series of workshops in the areas of math, science, technology and non-traditional career options. The Academy also focused on aspects of sisterhood as it relates to peer pressure and the importance of public service.
